Naja on a boat to Solta

BEEs, CLAMS & village fishing

Heading to the island of Šolta (Pronounced Shōlta) for a day long visit to a local honey farm in a tiny village called Rogač where I’ll taste homemade honey products made by the Tvrdić family for decades.

Our host Goran, the head of the family, will give an eye-opening presentation and introduce us to the world of bees.

After the honey farm, a short drive through the gravel road on the island will take us to a fish farm where Igor, a local fisherman in the village Grohote will share his fish farm, set in a very secluded bay surrounded by the beautiful, untouched nature with a Robinsonian vibe.

We’ll join him while he catches the fish and prepares it for lunch.

Igor will share the entire process of the fish preparation – from the sea to your plate.
